Earlier this week I shared some of my favorite pre-club yard games. Without a doubt, Spikeball tops the list. After club this Monday night one of my high school friends asked me if we could start a Spikeball club at school. It’s addicting.
You can buy a set online for $49.99 or you can win one of three we’re giving away on The Young Life Leader Blog!
3 Ways 2 Win
Social Media
Post a tweet, Instagram a pic, or post a status on Facebooktagging both @Spikeball and @YoungLifeLeader. Also use the hashtag #SpikeballYL so we can track it on Tagboard. Something like ‘Being a @YoungLifeLeader is incomplete without owning a @Spikeball set. #SpikeballYL.’ Be creative.
We’ll give away one set to a random person who shares the social media love today or tomorrow, April 17th or 18th.
Logo
We’re holding a contest to create a logo for The Young Life Leader Blog. We’d love one in a banner form that could go across the top of the blog and another square one to use in social media. Send in your submissions here. Feel free to send in concepts and you can perfect them if yours is selected. If chosen, we’ll send you a Spikeball set!
Guest Post
The goal of YoungLifeLeaders.org is to be a centralized place where YL leaders from around the world can share ideas and encouragement. We’d love to hear from you about some things you’ve done well this year in YL. What are some ‘best practices’ you can pass along? Something unique that other leaders might adapt to fit their specific community?
A brilliant Campaigners idea.
A powerful club talk illustration.
A strike of contact work genius.
A fundraising success story.
A game you invented.
You fill in the blank…
Send us a summary of the idea you’d like to write about in 100 words or less. We’ll select the best ideas and email you back asking for a full guest post. One winner will be chose for the Spike Ball set. Submissions are due by Sunday night April 21st at midnight. Email us here.
Consider sharing an idea or encouragement.
