Today, Crystal Kirgiss is sharing with us some encouragement and helpful information about devotional materials available to us and our middle, high school, and college friends.
In these days of physical disconnect, it’s as important as ever for us and our students to stay rooted in Jesus the Word by being immersed in the Word that tells his story. To help with that, we’ve compiled a few of the most foundational practices here for public reading of scripture, creative Bible engagement, and faith talk (articulate testimony and witness).
We’ve also put together a full series of devotional study materials focused on what scripture says about God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit, God’s children, and God’s fellowship. It’s hosted on our partner website with Bible Project. Each day includes scripture, devotional readings, reflection questions, background information, and links to related worship music, spoken words, or teaching videos. The content progresses thematically and is best engaged beginning from Day 1. Besides the online content, each day has a downloadable PDF of the main content, plus content adapted for Capernaum.
When “3-in-1” concludes at the end of April, the content will stay online through the summer months and will be followed by a study of Luke-Acts starting in May.
