Although ‘Say Something’ by A Great Big World makes this kid cry, it’s still a fun new song to sing in club.
The very end of this 1 minute video is priceless.
If you’re going to pull this song off in club, it helps to have someone who can sing well, and if not well, at least someone who can make a fool of themselves and belt it out really loud with intense passion. The song can also drag on, so inserting two folks waltzing in the background while wearing banana costumes could be a good distraction during the slow paced song.
Here are guitar chords, but having a keyboard would be better. I bet there’s a club kid who knows how to play piano that would be willing to learn the song, it’s fairly easy to play.

The song would fit well at Anti-Valentine’s club, or Love Club this week.
It would also fit well with a club talk about God’s faithfulness, with-ness, and promise to never leave us. You could use it with a need talk, pointing to the brokenness of a world lacking in commitment.
