Updating Your Young Life Playlist

August 11, 2011

I got a tweet today asking if we had any good ideas for new songs to put on the YL playlist. I’m sure many of you, like me, have a playlist on your iPod entitled “YL Club Music.” We play songs from it before club, after club, as kids enter club, during games, etc…

It always seems difficult to find new, hip songs, that aren’t explicit in words/meaning.

Let’s share ideas together and save us all a big headache. Please comment below.

Here are the songs that have been added in the comment section so far with links to each song in iTunes.

“Tonight, Tonight” by Hot Chelle Rae

“Good Life” by One Republic

“Stereo Hearts” by Gym Class Heroes (and Adam Levine)

“Rolling in the Deep” by Adele
“Love You Like a Love Song” by Selena Gomez

“The Cave” by Mumford and Sons

“Peanut Butter Jelly Time”

“Boom Shake The Room” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & Will Smith
“Move Your Feet” by Junior Senior

“Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO (The intro, cutting it off before lyrics come in)

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall by Coldplay

Let’s get a few more added on here, what would you suggest?
