Kenny is a Washington State native, living the majority of his life in Seattle. At Queen Anne High School he became involved with Young Life and met the Lord. After college, he became a church partner while pursuing a career in teaching. After three years, the Lord called him full time onto staff with Young Life. During his tenure, he’s enjoyed serving in a variety of roles from Area Director, Regional Director, Vice President of Field Ministries, College Director (University of Michigan and University of Central Florida), Divisional Coordinator and now Vice President of Young Life College and University. He is passionate about race in American culture and ministry, how God desires to intersect theology and culture (especially related to how we read the Bible, baseball and fishing. He and his wife Kim live in Orlando, and have two daughters and one son.
